Besides certain work-related skills, restaurant employees constantly work under time pressure, and it helps to be more organized and efficient at work.<\/p>\n<p>I had a unique opportunity to complete my practical training at Fafa\u2019s restaurant in Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4. I did not have any experience in the field, so I started as a trainee. Training <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1178 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2020\/08\/Fafas-Alex-300x262.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"262\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2020\/08\/Fafas-Alex-300x262.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2020\/08\/Fafas-Alex-1024x894.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2020\/08\/Fafas-Alex-768x671.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2020\/08\/Fafas-Alex.jpg 1154w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>period was 2 weeks, during this time I have learned basics of cooking, serving customers,\u00a0 operating with finances and a lot of other smaller tasks. I was lucky to get a position in such multicultural friendly environment. My managers have supported me in my learning, and I have grown a lot both personally and professionally. At the moment, I\u2019ve been at Fafa\u2019s for over a year. I have learned a lot and can take more responsibilities than earlier. I have experienced the power of teamwork, we have a great team that cooperates efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m glad that once I\u2019ve accepted this challenge and encourage others to do so! It\u2019s always useful and exciting to try yourself in something new.
