I was, and still am working for George Simons International, specifically for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/diversophy.com\">https:\/\/diversophy.com<\/a>. It is\u00a0a group training tool designed to enhance\u00a0one\u2019s\u00a0learning of other cultures and\u00a0enable them to\u00a0employ\u00a0that knowledge practically. The Game of Cultural Competence spans across countries and\u00a0continents, comes in\u00a0dozens\u00a0of languages as well as\u00a0addresses\u00a0a wide range of topics: from global\u00a0negotiation\u00a0and migration to\u00a0international\u00a0table manners and gender identity.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-536 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Diversitweet-1024x509.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"318\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Diversitweet-1024x509.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Diversitweet-300x149.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Diversitweet-768x382.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Diversitweet.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of\u00a0diversophy\u00ae\u2019s specialities is Country Games. Each one sheds light on\u00a0culture\u2019s features as well as\u00a0immerses\u00a0teams into its everyday\u00a0and workplace\u00a0situations. All in a safe environment\u00a0enabling\u00a0players to share and overcome their\u00a0bias\u00a0and misunderstandings. As a Russian-speaking intern, I dedicated a large part of my stay\u00a0to updating\u00a0the translations of Russia-themed games and\u00a0materials, as well as assembled a new product \u2013 the Russia Mini-Deck \u2013 together with another colleague. I was also responsible for social media activity\u00a0on\u00a0Instagram,\u00a0Twitter,\u00a0and\u00a0LinkedIn, as well as for planning\u00a0and creation of\u00a0marketing campaigns of\u00a0various products. I tried Mailchimp and Shopify for website management. Later in the summer, I started curating the \u201cIntern Stories\u201d project focusing\u00a0on collecting experiences of international business\u00a0professionals.\u00a0I interviewed many talented ex-trainees of\u00a0George Simons\u00a0through Zoom.\u00a0Apart from that, I worked on\u00a0the visual part of our\u00a0newest\u00a0Manhood game and spent\u00a0a number of\u00a0days tackling copyright-related tasks\u00a0in FileMaker Pro.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-535 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Mini-Game-1024x500.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"313\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Mini-Game-1024x500.png 1024w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Mini-Game-300x146.png 300w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Mini-Game-768x375.png 768w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/ibexperiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/495\/2018\/11\/Mini-Game.png 1074w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Between all that, I travelled the\u00a0Riviera. From Menton to\u00a0Marseille, I made it my goal to see as many places as possible. Living just minutes outside of Cannes, I got to enjoy things like Cannes Film Festival, Saint-Paul de Vence\u00a0Music Festival,\u00a0Marseille Delta\u00a0Music\u00a0Festival, Cannes\u00a0Yachting\u00a0Festival, Cannes Fireworks Festival, lavender\u00a0fields\u00a0of Provence,\u00a0and\u00a0of course, warm\u00a0Mediterranean, with its\u00a0vibrant flora and fauna,\u00a0delicious\u00a0local\u00a0cuisine. I got a chance to\u00a0utilize\u00a0my\u00a0knowledge and gain\u00a0experience\u00a0contributing\u00a0to a whole range of products on every step of development.\u00a0\u00a0I learnt several programs from scratch and can now work on both PC and Mac, I successfully used social\u00a0media business tools.\u00a0I\u00a0could\u00a0see my efforts bear fruit when one\u00a0of the Russian games\u00a0was\u00a0sold shortly after its update or when\u00a0our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/diversophyworld\/\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/diversophyworld\/<\/a>\u00a0following almost doubled since I started working on its planning.
