The first day of school

Today was my first day of school and I had a good day. They have said in the e-mail, that we have to be on time, so we took no risks and we left home an hour earlier with other Finnish student. When we got to school it was ten past seven and the school started at eight, so we were really early. 😀 It was really nice meeting all the other exchange students from all over the world. We had “administrative requirements”, which is just useful info and in the afternoon we had German lesson. On our way home me and the other Finnish student decided to speak only German to each other and we got really weird looks in the bus 😀 The Swiss dialect of German is funny, because you pronounce r as an Finnish r. There are also some funny Swiss German sayings, like Gruzi, which means hello and when you thank someone here you say merci, pronounced also with Finnish r. That was a short course of Swiss German :D. I don´t know if I have told you this already, but I am a music student and rehearsing is of course very important, so it is very helpful that we have a quite soundproofed playing room in the basement of this house. 🙂

See you tomorrow!
