My name is Daniil, and I am a second year IB student at JAMK! I have moved here in 2020 towards the new studying and career development opportunities.<br><br>Well, I would like to start with some basic questions which might be interesting to people who would like to move here. It is quite peaceful student city with the numerous events organized both by student unions and city itself and astonishing views. Finland is itself famous for beautiful scenery and Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 is not an exception. Late evening summer and winter sights of the city center and harbor bridge may cause the intention to view it more and more. Finnish nature is itself worth viewing if you have free time. During the autumn is traditionally held the event which is called \u201cJyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 \u2013 City of Light\u201d. It is the large number of lights installations in the city with specific breathtaking. In 2021 I have also witnessed the FIA Rally event which took place in Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 simultaneously with lights event. It was incredible to view sport cars riding in the city through the light performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"547\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/talentboost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/662\/2022\/02\/Picture1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-110\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/talentboost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/662\/2022\/02\/Picture1.png 547w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/talentboost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/662\/2022\/02\/Picture1-300x219.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 547px) 100vw, 547px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 City of Lights <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br>Next, I would like to talk about my Practical Training which I completed during the second semester at JAMK. I was lucky to witness the vacancy posted in our IB What\u2019s app chat. To tell the truth, I was quite shocked and happy to receive the invitation for the interview, after I have e-mailed the responsible person. This position I got in the local cyber-sport team, which was in need of social media marketing intern whom I have become. It was an incredible and useful experience for me, where practiced myself in photo editing, doing targeted promotions and just practicing myself in the working life. By the way, this practical training has helped me in studying the Marketing course which I have been doing simultaneously with the practical training. In general, I would like to say that if you are going to be active and show the willingness to practice yourself, the suitable workplace will find you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"468\" height=\"468\" src=\"https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/talentboost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/662\/2022\/02\/Picture2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-109\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/talentboost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/662\/2022\/02\/Picture2.png 468w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/talentboost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/662\/2022\/02\/Picture2-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/blogit.jamk.fi\/talentboost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/662\/2022\/02\/Picture2-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">JAMK IB Tutors <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Finally, I would like to shortly mention my Student Tutoring experience. It is absolutely incredible experience of both short- and long-term planning, being open to communication, willing to help and showing your reliability. I always tried to be on contact and monitor how students are coping with significant moments regarding electronic systems of university, using the appliances in campus and other crucial questions what to do first after arrival in Finland. I have been talking a lot and tried to show my willingness to answer students\u2019 questions. You always need to be communicative, active and open, because sometimes people are shy even to ask an essential for them question. The last but not least, you need to be flexible, because you never know in case the booking for the day is going to be cancelled or not, sometimes nobody can influence outside impact factors.
