Creativity, Learning and Quality of Life

Summer School 2014

We are proudly and happily announcing that 3th International Summer School organized by Teacher Education College of JAMK University of Applied Sciences will take place 9-13 June 2014.

This time our Summer School will explore the theme “Creativity, Learning and Quality of Life”. We want to be flexible with the theme, so creativity can mean using arts in education, but also exploring new teaching/learning/counseling/guidance methods, ideas, concepts etc.

You can register to Summer School here until 20 May, 2014.

You can also participate only on Conference Day to get all the best parts of our summer school in one day.

Please, read some feelings of one Summer School 2013 participant, Roberto Gamboa, below.

“I was searching for a summer course around creativity in order to learn how other countries and universities look at this new academic domain. I found the JAMK course on Creativity and Learning that seemed very interesting, applied for the Erasmus grant and got the opportunity to travel Jyväskylä, the northest place I’ve ever been to.

The summer school week was very intense and diverse. Creativity was approached from various perspectives and the social program was very interesting. The course professors and students were very talkative and open to interaction. I found the informal interaction with each other also very valuable.

Creativity and Learning Summer School is a good opportunity to learn about new and diverse approaches to creativity, to meet very nice persons and to participate in interesting workshops. A big thanks to all the students, teachers and the summer course team in JAMK.”
