Dolceta 2.0

Since the first version of the Dolceta website (www.dolceta.eu) was launched, the Treaty of Lisbon has highlighted the importance of promoting consumer rights through information, education and collective action. In addition, it has expanded the perimeter of European policies to new areas of interest to consumers, such as tourism. New EU policies have been adopted in realition to energy efficiency or concerted response to climate change, information technologies or finance governance, which have a direct impact on areas where consumers have a growing interest: eco and energy efficient building, transportation and appliances, web based information and commercial services or financial services at large.

Dolceta 2.0 aims to:

  • clarify the positioning of www.dolceta.eu
  • improve the process by which information and educational material posted on the website is selected, updated and augmented with new topics
  • enhance the European dimension of the website
  • enable and use interactivity with the visitors to, and users of, the website
  • to significantly increase the promotion of the website
  • to develop and monitor key perfomance indicators
