Whatever Cafe, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Practical Training 2)

My name is Han Nguyen. I am a third-year student and have just finished Practical Training 2 in my home country. I am excited to share with you my story about the great chance I had. After nearly two years of studying abroad in Finland, I returned to my country. I have decided to stay longer to do my practical training 2. It was an excellent opportunity for me to work at Whatever Cafe, which belongs to Millennial Concepts

Whatever Cafe has been open since 2020. It is a local coffee shop in a new district in Ho Chi Minh City, District 2, Vietnam. When customers visit the destination, they taste the nice drink and chill in the green and fresh environment. During my internship, I learned the recipe for the glasses, how to check the quality of coffee, and gained more knowledge about the beverage. Besides, I did the marketing for the store on social media like Instagram and Facebook. My main daily tasks are welcoming customers, taking orders, making drinks, and serving them. I had to clean the bar and customers’ areas to keep the environment clean and fresh. Therefore, we could leave a positive impression on the visitors when they come or leave. Besides those tasks, I will take pictures or videos to post on Instagram and Facebook. Every week the Instagram account needed to have at least three stories every day and at least five posts a week. Facebook will have the same content and plan as Instagram. 

Although it was just three months, I had a marvelous and unforgettable time. I was improving my customer service, time management, and teamwork. I hope you guys also have a great time with Practical Training 2.
