CERTESS Project is now over!

With the various Final Conferences taking place in Autumn 2014, CERTESS project has come to an end, fulfilling entirely the planned tasks and achieving all target results.

The CERTESS Knowledge Platform containing:

  • 41 Good Practices (GPs)
  • 84 Governance Instruments (GIs) supported by a Route Tool-Kit, to become shortly public,
is encountering an increasing popularity and will stay, therefore, accessible in the future from:

11 Route Implementation Plans

CERTESS partners completed the formulation of 11 individual Route Implementation Plans encompassing various scenarios:
– conceiving a new Route
– joining existing Routes
– enhancing existing Routes
– promoting ICT Routes
– providing Route methodology and networking.
thus making CERTESS a general Master Plan based on a common planning experience and a sound interlinked partner relationship.

Video

Production of a video tiling together the mosaic of the Route Implementation Plans under the title “Along the European routes”, was not an activity originally
envisaged at the project design stage.

The readiness of the Romanian partner to coordinate the shooting of the video in Summer 2014 was welcomed by all other partners. This resulted in two students travelling by train, boat and, locally, by bike or hiking, thus visiting all partners regions for a total of 34 days starting from Sibiu and ending in Granada. Plenty of documentary materials was collected during the local trips; a lively follow-up of this adventurous wandering was kept in Facebook and in a dedicated website.

The video is available in CERTESS website.

Final Publication

A brilliant colorful leaflet of 56 pages summarizes 3 years of visits, experience exchange, methodological laboring at local level and jointly, final outputs and results, new challenges for the near future.

The publication was presented in the Final Conference and distributed in 1000 copies in printed form, plus an electronic version (in a complimentary USB key-driver).
The publication is also downloadable from CERTESS website.

Final Conference in Luxembourg

The partners met for the last time in Luxembourg for the Final Conference of CERTESS project on 22 October 2014. During that venue, the 11 Route Implementation Plans and the Video were presented together with a presentation of the future INTERREG EUROPE by the JTS representative.

The Conference was also followed live via the Neumunster Abbey webinar.

The video is now available at: http://live.neimenster.lu/ and will soon be uploaded also on CERTESS website.

Local Final Conferences

Local Final Conferences have taken place during the months of September and October, 2014. This was the occasion for the partners to present their individual Route Implementation Plan to the Stakeholder’s Table and other interested parties.
