Practical training in India
Autumn 2018, Zemskova Emiliia
Please, imagine a situation that one young girl (19 year old) is in India. She doesn’t meet any European, American or Russian people for 2 months. She lives with just spicy and chilly food. Everywhere is messy and dirty. She needs to be strong in order to built relationship with the Indian director, colleagues and other people with whom she connects. I would like to remind you that between India and Europe there is a big gap of culture. Communication with Indian people is not easy. They have absolutely different way of thinking.
For this young girl this new style of life is very hard. Sometimes she cries a lot alone in her hotel room and sometimes she smiles and laughs.
This girl was me.
I couldn’t say that I don’t like this experience. I like it. I could not say it made me better, but I can say that it changed me. This practical training presented me a lot of experience. And I am so thankful for this to Jamk.fi.
My work wasn’t hard for me because I am not afraid of big auditories. I had to organise some seminars and have speech about Finland, Jyväskylä, Jamk.fi. I love my universities that’s why all my speeches were successful.
