Practical Training at Paytrail Oyj
I started looking for practical training positions in November 2021 when I was doing my exchange period in Bern, Switzerland. I looked for businesses that operated in the Kielo Office Solutions buildings and an open position by Paytrail Oyj caught my eye. I scored an interview with them and after about 45 minutes since the interview had ended, I got a call that I got the position. The job was B2B customer service via e-mail and phone.
Paytrail Oyj acts as a payment mediator, so our customers were online merchants (for example Foodora, IKEA, State Treasury of Finland etc.) that needed help solving their problems. The work included B2B customer service, compliance tasks, invoicing, and some technical problem solving. The working days lasted from 8-16 or 9-17 and the nature of the job was very reactive. Every day was different, and I genuinely enjoyed my time as an ePayment Expert trainee.
The working culture at Paytrail was amazing and all my colleagues welcomed me with open arms. The work benefits were also amazing, and I would recommend this employer to anyone who is interested to work in the eCommerce field.
